The lights are on and Parkers are home.
Sorry about the snow guys, but we have brought snow or rain everywhere we’ve been.

She is going to be in there for maybe a couple of weeks. They think her computer is caput! We will be here in Lake Havasu for quite awhile.
We have a lot of hiking we can do here and the library is nice. London bridge is here and we will be showing you that soon.
Just click on comments if you would like to leave us a message. We would love to hear from you all.
Today was cloudy and cool so we took a 30 mile jeep ride through Kofa via Crystal Hill. We packed a picnic lunch and had a great time just looking at the scenery . The desert is just blooming this time of year. When we arrived it was barren and now it’s flowering. I am glad we got to see it cause it doesn’t last long.
We drove through Imperial Dunes today. You think we have dunes in Michigan—baaaa; here in California—now they have dunes. Luke you and Garrick and Quentin would have a blast. Look at these pics:
Pretty neat huh, they go for miles.
The desert was dry and barren when we first camped here but now it is blooming.![]()
to stay here for 10 calendar days and we have
stayed 22 days. Now we are back on the road again looking for another great spot.
Happy Birthday Chel and Jake. Hope you have great ones. We are eating cake and ice cream right now to help you celebrate. Love you bunches.
I am standing on the dock looking down for this picture so it doesn’t look as large as it is. What a catch ! Here is another shot
I have been wearing my camera on my belt for two months straight; today I just didn’t bring it aboard. Had to race back to shore ,run for the camera—huff huff and try to release the fish before it expired. lol we made it. Wow what a splash he made.
We even make the cactus grow.
Walked into the Post Office yesterday in the pouring rain the postmistress said just look at that rain. We don’t get this, we just don’t get this; I hope it rains all day. Well, it did and the next. We have hard rain and wind. Schools have closed-the kids are so excited. More rain in the forecast for tomorrow. This Colorado River valley we are in has to irrigate year round. That is til we showed up. We brought rain to east Texas, south Texas, New Mexico and now Arizona. We are in high demand. They all want us to come back next year, in fact they don’t want us to leave.
We were going to see a movie in town today because of the rain, but with the high wind and the roads washing away we had to stay put and keep the home-front safe. At least here it is warm even in the rain so it shouldn’t take forever to dry everything out.
We hope you all are doing well and having fun in the snow. Keep safe and know we are thinking about you—Love us
Don’t want to leave here. Mountains to climb, lake to fish and sun, campsite to die for and roads to explore; and weather that can’t be beat. I am going to insert a few pictures here so you can get an idea of what it is like (for free)ten days only but --gee
Doesn’t it look fabulous? You kids would not believe the mountain your ole mom climbed. Thank heavens for hiking poles! Dad is at it everyday—me every other. lol
As great as it is, I still miss you all, think of you everyday and wish the grandkids would drop us a line---you older kids too. We don’t often get wi-fi or even phone reception, but when we do----we’d like a message or two, or three.
We’re thinking we now need a new cell phone. It is “dispicable” (said like Donald Duck) how many things we have had to replace on this trip. Let’s see, first was the power converter, then a 60 dollar upgrade to our GPS then Dad left his Tevos at a campsite and we had to replace them—then our generator connecters
went bad so we had to buy a battery charger. I know I left something out but hey this is enough right here.,
Hope this finds all of you well and enjoying the snow. love you all so much.
