We are on Mustang Island camping on the beach suffering a little sunburn, hee hee hee
Feeling a little blue cause it's Christmas. But the sun is shining and the waves are crashing so it's off to the surf for us.
Everyone have a very Merry Christmas and happy new year. Love to all.
Hope to hear from someone soon. Maybe--you

hI ALL,
Hey, we have water & gas & a new converter. We are vacationing now!
Hit the coast. really neat but still mostly the wettest fog you ever have been in.
Today the coast was full of jelly-fish. A local walked by and told us this happens every year but they don't know why. Still pretty neat. Oyster shells are everywhere they are nice too. Of course I picked up a few--Spark had to stop me before I filled his sleeping area, lol
We are headed for Padre Island today, hoping for some sun.
Write more later. (sure hope a few of you are going to read this stuff).

From Jake's we have been on the road for five nights and it still isn't warm!!
We got on the Natchez Trace PKW in Nashville and drov it through Tenn, Alabama, Mississipi and into Louisanna. (444 miles) If you are in no hurrry, this is a great way to travel. Two lane traffic (when there is any) no stop lights or stop signs the entire way at 50 miles an hour. Free campgrounds--3 of them spaced so you can do the entire trip.
There were some cool things to see along the way. Indian mounds-Cypress swamp and cotton fields to name just a few.
Troubles- we've had some: The fridg door won't stay closed until after it dumps half it's contents on the floor, then it is content to dstay shut forever! Just aminor aggravation- right-
We couldn't fill our water tank until we got below the freeze line--who knew that would be Louisanna. Okay, no biggie Then we ran out of propane. Now we have a problem--can't cook indoorsm, can't heat the camper. Soo cold. 42 deg. in am(inside) We found a very sweet ole gentleman who tried to put new OPD's on and guess what-yup-you got it-can't do it. He felt so bad for us that he filled our tanks anyway so at least we are warm while trying to find new ones.
More still-our converter box in the truck that allows us to recharge our cell phone & laptop BROKE, now we can't even call anyone. Oh yeah, looking for one of those now too.
If you were thinking of feeling sorry for us, Don't. We aren't working, not dealing with the snow, and still have the warm Gulf to look forward too.
Love you guys so much and missing you all is our only hardship. XX000

We're Gone
We left today, Dec 4th at 8:00 p.m. after having a super dinner at Ginger's! We finished packing in freezing temps and are leaving much earlier next year. burr burr. We drove as far as Ohio and stayed overnight at one of their turnpikes service plaza. Not bad, getting up in 28 degree temperatures and running in for a hot breckfast and hot coffee.

In the beginning
Hello gang,
I am going to try to keep up on this blog. I want to keep you posted on where we are and what we are doing. I hope to upload lots of pictures.
I hope this will make it seem like we are closer to home and not so far away.
We won't be leaving (unless we get lots of snow) until after Nov. 21st.
Dad and I are so excited, we can hardly wait to start traveling again.
Love ya all
